Description:
Responsibilities include:
- Review and analyze financial data for month end statement preparation.
- Assess internal controls and make recommended changes as necessary
- Forecasting and budgeting
- Assist project teams to arrive at solutions related to projects
- Reviewing invoices and check requests for completeness and compliance with company policies
- General ledger account reconciliations and analysis
- Journal entries
- Vendor negotiations as necessary
- Assist in special projects as needed
Requirements include:
- Bachelors degree in finance, accounting or related field required
- 3-5 years experience in accounting or finance
- Accounting experience in the medical education/advertising agency fields a plus
- Proficiency with Excel, Word and QuickBooks Pro required
- Ability to meet financial reporting deadlines
