General Description
The Executive VP/President is responsible for leading an growing a strategic, scientifically based managed market communication company. This individual will be charged with strategic planning, new business development, organic growth of existing business and ongoing cultivation of client relationships.
Responsibilities
- Administer all managed market-related communications business
- Identify and develop new business prospects
- Ensure organic growth of existing business
- Gain thorough knowledge the clients’ product(s) and therapeutic categories
- Maintain relevant and strategic client support
- Cultivate and maintain ongoing client relationships
- Oversee coordination of managed market business among divisions
- Direct management of staff
- Ensure financial accuracy and budgetary adherence of all projects
- Review and submit monthly and annual revenue projections
- Advanced degree in science, marketing or management
- 3+ years of experience in medical communications (MED ED company)
- 5+ years of direct managed market experience
- Excellent understanding of health care, managed markets, medical education and pharmaceutical industry
- Proven record of successful business development in managed market arena
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel
