Description:
Our client needs an experienced VP, Account Supervisor to oversee all aspects of customer relationships.
Responsibilities:
- Provides strategic leadership to the Account, Creative, and Client teams for Customer Relationship Marketing (to pharmacists, doctors, hospital administrators, employers, patients, pharma companies, etc.).
- Proactively challenges and addresses Client needs for long-term future (i.e. Beyond current/next sales period).
- Encourages and provides for growth and development of Account Supervisor, Account Executive, and Staff Assistants.
- Coordinates and prioritizes activity among accounts.
- Manages/steps in to challenge Client activities when necessary.
- Anticipates and resolves Agency problems with workload, staffing, etc., having the benefit of a more global view.
- Consistently submits proposals to Client with new ideas/programs to address new marketing issues.
- Oversee (hands-on) 6-9 brands. Will be involved in every product in the agency.
- Hires, trains, and supervises Account Supervisors, challenges and enhances growth and development of Account Supervisors, Account Executives, and Staff Assistants, as appropriate.
- Runs account as a separate business unit-makes management aware of problems and successes, as well as profitability and staffing needs.
- Helps to install knowledge, acceptance, and integration of agency innovations with Clients and Agency staff.
- BA/BS
- Experience working in a managed care and pharmaceutical advertising agency environment
