Description:
As part of the Meeting Services team, the Senior Meeting Planner is responsible for managing meeting planning elements for satellite symposia at congresses, advisory board meetings, regional CME events, consultant meetings and social events. Responsibilities include include site selection, contract negotiation, food and beverage, recruitment database management/ reports, on site management, post meeting follow up and budget reconciliation. Moderate travel, including weekends required. The Senior Meeting Manager must provide excellent execution of all events, inclusive of financial account management.
BA/BS degree, 3-5 years meeting planning experience in medical education a must. Strong resources and time management skills, audiovisual knowledge, solid verbal and written communication skills, computer proficiency in Word, Excel and database software.
