Description:

Major Tasks
Supporting Account Executives

• Researching topics using internal and external resources
• Writing detailed introductions for proposals and other client-focused documents
• Researching, writing, and editing other correspondence to clients in order to provide quality assurance
• Meeting with clients, potential clients, speakers, and other persons in order to gain new accounts and solidify existing ones

Preparing Participant Materials

• Familiarizing himself/herself with supplied educational objectives and program content
• Developing program content for both accredited and nonaccredited programs
• Preparing applications for Continuing Medical Education (CME)/CE/CEU credit
• Creating speaker biographies from CVs
• Providing support to the chosen speaker by assisting in the writing and editing of program materials
• Researching subjects for speaker presentation materials, references/citations, physician speakers, summary of literature, etc.
• Overseeing the production of large, complex initiatives

Supporting Corporate Initiatives

• Creating manuscripts for our client’s sales and marketing materials

Expertise Required for the Job

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific field from four-year college or university
• Must have strong Psychiatry background and be able to provide samples of prior work in this area
• Three- to five-years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Experience in medical/pharmaceutical field
• Excellent communication skills
• Outstanding customer service focus
