Description:
Our client is undergoing substantial growth seeks a talented Event Coordinator for their Speakers Bureau department. In this role you will direct key account contact for various medical disciplines for implementation and execution of events in conjunction with non-Continuing Medical Education (non-CME) speaker’s bureau. Responsible for maintaining consistent communication with pharmaceutical sales reps, speakers and internal staff while planning programs for clients.
Responsibilities include:
- Collaboration with Clinical Oncology Specialists (COS) during all stages of event from development through execution
- Communication with Faculty Account Manager and Assistant Event Coordinator daily for event and logistical status
- Responsible for audience development efforts
- Partner with COS to obtain key customer list
- Review all materials before dissemination
- Manage T&E schedule
- Fulfillment of COS ad hoc and special requests
- Post-program follow-up with COS to obtain feedback and evaluations for implementation and execution of future events
- Monitor financials to ensure event meets estimate requirements
- Working and operational knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook, Visual Elk, and Timepiece
- Possess excellent oral communication, organizational and planning skills
- Highly organized, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Extremely detailed and solution oriented
- Willingness to travel for programs, if requested
- Scientific knowledge of disease state and product
- Knowledge of healthcare/pharmaceutical industry
- Customer service background for at least 1 year
- College degree required.
