Description:
Role
- Manage speakers bureau faculty to drive development and execution of promotional speakers bureau
- Assumes one (1) faculty concierge for every thirty (30) faculty members
- Establish, strengthen, and leverage key opinion leader relationships
- Collection and development of faculty profiles
- Development of training materials for faculty
- Solicitation and procurement of speakers bureau faculty
- Negotiate honoraria based on number/type of programs(s)
- Monitor faculty availability
- Communication weekly with faculty for identification of speaking engagements
- Ad hoc meetings with faculty at local institution and/or meetings and congresses
- Process honoraria and expenses
- Fulfillment of ad hoc faculty requests
- Communication and coordinate with internal departments (speakers bureau director, event coordinator, and account manager) for identification and implementation of programs
- Partner with event coordinator to ensure effective implementation of all phases of programs
- Working and operational knowledge of MS Office, MS Outlook (emails and meetings), Visual Elk, and timepiece
- Possess excellent communication (written and oral), analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Highly organized, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Passion for excellence - extremely detailed oriented
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Strong scientific background and experience with disease state
- Willingness to travel for initial program/faculty member associated with speakers bureau to establish and maintain relationship
- Experience in medical communications agency and/or pharmaceutical company for at 3 least years
