Full-service, Continuing Medical Education (CME) agency that services strategic development and implementation of long-term medical education programs.

Description:


The Medical Editor will be responsible for copy editing and proofing of assigned materials and projects through their completion.

Responsibilities are as follows:
  • Informs Medical Directors, Program Directors and Art Studio of significant editorial issues on assigned materials.
  • Maintains ongoing dialogue with Medical and Program Directors to ensure materials are edited according to client and/or our client’s specifications.
  • Monitors and adapts to changes in AMA style.
  • Develops and maintains house style.
  • The Editor will interact with Program Services, Scientific Services, Operations, Creative, Desktop, Production, Word Processing, Traffic and Freelance Editors.
  • The Editor will report directly to a supervising Senior Editor.
Qualifications:
  • 3 - 5 years experience in Medical Editing is required
  • College Degree
  • Continuing Medical Education (CME) experience is a must
  • Medical Education Agency experience is also required.
