Description:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Develops advisory board reviews, formulary kits, literature reviews, medical convention reports, monographs, slide kits, abstracts, and manuscripts
• Writes solid, intelligent, brand-appropriate, pieces in a variety of communication forms (eg, slide kits, monographs) for a variety of healthcare professionals
• Can quickly gain command of new therapeutic areas
• Strong analytical and statistical skills
• Solicits project opportunities from account, copy and medical teams
• Maintains technical expertise
• Submits copy to supervisor and AE in a timely fashion, with enough time for revisions before copy goes to client
• Leads teammates; maintains a strong relationship with Editorial, Art, Copy, Medical and Account Services
• Follows company procedures
• Presents points of view articulately and persuasively within company and with client
• Exhibits dress, behavior, and conduct fitting for the role of Medical and Scientific Affairs
• Completes timesheets in a timely fashion
• Exemplifies the values of company and contributes to the overall culture of the agency

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Ph.D., PharmD, or MD with prior industry experience
• Fellowship training required
• Strong communication skills (presentation and writing)
• Ability to work independently
• Self-motivated
• Team player
