The Program Manager (PM) will independently manage accounts and projects from conception through implementation and financial reconciliation and serve as a client contact. The PM will also leverage his or her tactical experience to assist in the organic growth of the account.
Program / Account Management
- Manages the development and execution of accounts and projects
- Responsible for account and project fiscal status, including the development of estimates, budget management, and reconciliation
- Interacts with external vendors for obtaining price quotes and expanding armamentarium of possible client offerings
- Develops and manages project timelines and maintains status reports
- Traffics projects through internal and client systems
- Provides upper management with professional updates on account and program project and fiscal status
- Masters client relations skills and manages client relationship by serving as account contact
- Strengthens and leverages key opinion leader relationships to further account growth
- Operational knowledge of and interest in scientific and strategic offerings of client
- Understands and upholds company’s mission and values
- Working and operational knowledge of MS Office
- Possess excellent communication (written and oral), analytical, interpersonal and problem solving skills
- Solution oriented with demonstrated ability to prioritize challenges and tasks
- Highly organized, ability to manage time and prioritize tasks
- Passion for excellence - extremely detailed oriented
- Professional appearance and demeanor
- Experience in medical communication agency for 3-4 years
- Willingness to travel
- Degree in life science or degree in liberal arts, marketing or communications with a strong appreciation for and interest in pharmaceutical marketing and communications
