Summary:
Responsible for all aspects of planning, managing, coordinating, and supervising all phases of various projects to ensure customer satisfaction by performing the following duties. These duties need to be completed in a timely and organized manner.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Develops meeting agendas for programs.
- Recruits and discusses topics and clinical information for programs with speakers (physicians).
- Communicates effectively with the client on all phases of each project to ensure customer satisfaction, completeness and accuracy of projects.
- Possesses knowledge of the Guidance Documents.
- Performs medical education research to ensure compliance with ACCME/ACPE guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with meeting planners and other CME Associates to provide information about speakers’ presentations-the clinical data to be covered.
- Plans, organizes and controls all aspects of planning, documentation, and maintaining service levels on various projects from start to finish.
- Assist Managing Director with writing of various proposals and or projects as necessary.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university; and three years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Must have thorough knowledge on all Guidance Documents regulations and be able to train others.
Language Ability:
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of organization.
Math Ability:
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume. Ability to apply concepts of basic algebra and geometry.
Reasoning Ability:
Ability to define problems, collects data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.
Computer Skills:
To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Email, word processing software, spreadsheet software, database software and the Internet.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
May supervise Program Managers and Associate Program Managers in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
