Job Summary:
As Senior Vice President you will serve to provide leadership, direction and oversight to a large scientific services team comprised of Medical Directors, as well as the editorial group, presentations group and library staff. You will be responsible for developing, mentoring and coaching team members in the areas of client service, strategy and management where appropriate. You must have the proven ability to provide proactive, strategic direction to drive business objectives for our clients and provide strategic leadership and vision within the company as a whole. This position works closely with Senior Management team members to help develop and guide strategic direction, develop tactical plans and manage the client business. This is a very significant role within our organization. You will have the responsibility of operating effectively across functional boundaries, building and sustaining external and internal relationships with clients and team members.

- PhD or MD
- 6+ years experience in a medical communications, medical education or pharmaceutical advertising company.
- Understanding of AMA guidelines, proposal writing and document editing abilities/experience experience in a variety of therapeutic areas (Anti Infectives, Cardiovascular, Diabetes, Oncology, Neurology, Pain Management, etc).
- Clinical research, expertise in oncology and publication planning experience is a plus.
- Ability to provide independent, strategic medical direction.
- Strong written, verbal and presentation skills are essential.
- Excellent computer software experience.
- Strong acumen for pharmaceutical marketing.
- Ability to work both independent as well as lead a team.
