Description:
Our client is looking for an energetic Account Executive who will be responsible for growing the client base in the Tri State area focusing on vertical markets Pharmaceutical and Biotech. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing long tern relationships and selling Promotional and interactive services to top companies and strategic partners, will be comfortable cold calling and selling services. The Account Executive is expected to possess strong entrepreneurial skills, think outside the box and find creative ways to promote our services. The Account Executive will enjoy the support of other members of the Business Development Team, as well as our talented staff of project managers, product developers and creative staff. The candidate must have strong organizational skills, the ability to multi-task and be a problem solver, posses a ’can-do’ attitude, and a proven ability to work in a team environment.
Account Executive’s responsibilities will include:
- Generates sales leads through personal networks and "cold calling"
- Presents, negotiates and sells products and services to prospective agencies and direct clients, typically pitching to executives, and marketing managers
- Establishes, develops and maintains business and social relationships with current and potential clients.
- Participates in promotional events such as trade shows and seminars.
- Develops and maintains call lists.
- Crafts responses to RFPs, writes proposals and contracts.
- Develops sales and marketing collateral.
- Successful track record in selling promotional and interactive solutions.
- The candidate must be able to describe situations in which he/she has:
- Prospected and/or uncovered new sales opportunities in target accounts
- Demonstrated exceptional skill at managing and developing relationships with multiple high-value accounts
- A successful record of calling on senior business, marketing and technical "C" level executives
- The candidate must be able to demonstrate excellence in:
- Presenting complicated ideas effectively
- Excellent communication and writing skills
- Working in, contributing to and facilitating a team environment
- The candidate must have a strong background in Pharma sales or Promotional programs sales.
- BA or equivalent experience required
- Strong entrepreneurial attitude or experience
