About Position
Our client is actively searching for a dynamic individual to be Executive Director of Marketing and Strategy. Our client would like to elevate its brand in targeted pharmaceutical accounts as well as other healthcare markets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work closely with Vice President of Marketing and Strategy (Direct report) to lead our client to become a more integrated and highly valued solutions partner in key pharmaceutical markets by analyzing client goals and recommending innovative solutions that drive client revenue.
  • Work with Business Development group to research and create new service offerings that have a measured ROI for our clients
  • Help to re-position our client as a strategic resource and not only as a top-notch tactical supplier
  • Develop an outbound marketing campaign that elevates the brand image in targeted accounts
  • Provide strategic insight and be in front of changing rules, regulations and trends in pharmaceutical industry that impact our customers
  • Consult internally with Account Managers & Sales to develop better service offerings within client accounts
  • Meet with highest level individuals of pharmaceutical brand accounts to build relationships and discuss solutions
Skills and Qualifications
  • BA/ BS
  • 3-5 years medical communication agency leadership experience or pharmaceutical brand team leadership or commensurate experience
  • Confident in ability to research, learn quickly and speak about "clinical" issues with pharmaceutical brand accounts (Not expected to have specific medical training)
  • Demonstrated problem solving and conceptual skills
  • Ability to "roll-up" sleeves in a fast-growth entrepreneurial environment to service clients
  • Proven personnel management & development experience
  • Strong ability inspire others
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are critical
  • Some travel required
  • Relocation preferred
