Description:

This is a great position for someone with a strong editorial background in the medical education industry (at least 5 years), good project management skills, and good people skills.

• Work with internal team of medical writers and copy editors as well as outside freelance writers to produce content.
• Rewrite, proofread and edit medical education materials such as monographs, print publications, etc.
• Ensure that all materials written meet both marketing and educational objectives and conform to in-house style guides and the AMA Manual of Style.
• Communicate with faculty members, project development and production team to assist in producing medical education materials.

Requirements:

• Minimum education: BS; PhD in the life sciences preferred.
• 5 years medical editing experience in a medical education/communications setting.
• Experience in developing content for journals, articles, slide kits, etc.
