Guided by strategic insight, medical acumen, and client service, our client specializes in distinct service areas of health care marketing and communications.


Primary responsibilities:
  • Demonstrates in depth understanding of assigned therapeutic areas
  • Develops credible content for full range of medical education programs (manuscripts, slide presentations, symposia, advisory boards, posters etc) with minimal supervision
  • Work closely with senior medical affairs team and program/account teams to refine content in keeping with strategic imperatives
  • Able to lead discussions regarding medical content with client
  • Able to lead discussions with medical affairs team and KOLs regarding content development issues
  • Executes all aspects of administrative responsibilities (timesheets, project briefs, creative manager) in appropriately detailed and timely manner
  • Participates in project kick-off meetings, weekly status meetings, and medical affairs team meetings
  • Develops and delivers of presentations for lunch and learns
  • Able to contribute ideas for scientific subject matter for peer-to-peer teaching programs
  • Able to add value to current project quality and outcomes by demonstrating in depth technical expertise of assigned therapeutic category areas
  • Responsive to needs of team and senior management
  • Able to contribute original ideas for tactical planning within assigned accounts
  • Able to contribute original ideas for tactical planning for new business pitches
  • Presents scientific components of new business pitches with minimal direction
Secondary responsibilities:
  • Able to mentor junior team members (see section below on mentorship)
  • Able to proactively contribute to medical affairs operations and workflow
  • Able to consistently add value to team relationships with clients
  • Able to contribute original ideas for new business development
  • Able to represent Medical Affairs at industry meetings, scientific meetings
  • Advanced degree in life sciences, PhD, PharmD, MD, DO, DPH
  • Minimum 6 months clinical/medical education/pharmaceutical industry experience
  • Excellent interpersonal and presentation skills
