Description:
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for day-to-day coordination of agency activities and client contact on one or more accounts
Broad Function:
Builds strong/lasting relationship with clients based on progress in achieving the client’s marketing objectives with efficiency that results in profit for the agency.
Specific Responsibilities:
- Internal
- Familiarity with and adherence to agency financial and operating procedures and policy
- Provides account team with timely and accurate market data, budget limits, job specifications, marketing direction, and completion due dates
- Participates in the development of plan and strategy
- Reviews all materials before client presentations/final production
- Maintains accurate records of client expenditures, time utilization, billing information, client contacts, conference reports, etc
- Prepares realistic billing forecasts and pursues overdue invoices
- Keeps supervisor informed of and involved in client activities and problems
- Handles special projects as assigned
- External
- Develops in-depth expertise in clients’ business and markets
- Builds rapport and credibility with client, based on trust and expert counsel
- Participates in internal activities of clients
- Participates in client meetings and presentations
- Prepares project and media production estimates
- Stays alert for opportunities to grow client business and billings
