Serve as an agency leader for achieving the client’s strategic brand objectives by working with the client to provide them with strategic direction (campaign strategies, influences, drivers, competitive pressures, brand influences, etc.) and by working with the internal team to achieve tactical execution. Typically has the responsibility for managing $2-4 million, proficient in managing and developing others and building teams, grows business organically and inorganically, exhibits strategic leadership, and works independently.
Job Overview:

As an Account Director you will oversee account teams responsible for US & Global vaccine products. In this role you will serve as an agency leader for achieving the client’s strategic brand objectives.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Manage the client/agency relationship, drive rapport & loyalty
- Remain fully abreast of all potential brand influences in order to strategically stay ahead of the client
- Knowledgable about all divisions and business units
- Sells agency expertise and divisional servies to existing clients where appropriate, present expertise/services in new business
- Manage internal staff up to 5 direct reports -
- Work with the creative team to optimize workflow -
- Ensure project momentum - Provide ongoing training and mentoring opportunities for team members
- Create annual financial budgets up to $4 million - Achieve and monitor monthly and quarterly financial targets
- B.A. degree
- 7+ years prior work experience preferably in an advertising environment
- Prior personnel and client management experience highly desired
- General computer proficiency required
- Must possess a strong team orientation and excellent interpersonal, verbal and written communication, problem solving and influence skills
- Ability to regularly exercise judgment and discretion in order to manage projects
- Strong organization skills and attention to detail
- Normal working conditions
- 20-50% overnight travel required depending on client location and brand
