Description:
In this role, you will be the principal lead for overall agency service and activities on one or more accounts. You will provide strategic direction for the account group team members and be the primary contact with clients at the senior level. Using your expert relationship-building skills, you will create strong and lasting client relationships grounded in meeting clients’ marketing objectives utilizing agency service offerings
Key responsibilities:
- Internal
- Leads the strategic planning of all projects and fosters a close working relationship between teams
- Conducts regular account team meetings, involving others as appropriate, to discuss client opportunities, problems and work in progress
- Determines staff hour requirements and other resources required to ensure a high level of service to clients and profitability to the agency
- Directs, motivates and trains account team members to ensure a high level of performance on each account
- Evaluates performance and skills of account team members in light of the agency’s commitment to providing the highest level of service and products to clients
- Oversees scheduling and flow of work
- Plans, forecasts and reviews account profitability and ROI
- External
- Fosters close and productive relationship with clients’ senior management, establishing open channels of communication so that issues regarding pricing, performance or team personnel can be discussed
- Leads the development of strategic plans that will grow the clients’ business and generate incremental billings and income for the agencyLeads major client presentations and develops multiple client contacts that will strengthen the agency-client relationship
- Promotes other services, such as planning, interactive and events
