Description:
Working as part of a team to provide Concept advertising, promotions, and sales support programs of the highest caliber on time and on budget.
Responsibilities:
- Create high quality creative work by using creative talent, skills and experience to generate innovative ideas.
- Must keep current with trends in creative and new media.
- Will work with team (Copywriter, Account Management, Designers) to develop a range of Concept advertising, promotion sales support programs, and other media of the highest caliber in time and budget.
- Will deepen creative quality by reviewing all new Concepts and major campaigns with the Creative Director from concept through production.
- Will uphold agency creative standards.
- Review type proofs and mechanicals as necessary, answering all queries completely.
- Work with external resources as necessary and participating in strategic sessions, project input meetings, brainstorming sessions, and clients meetings as required by Creative Management and team members.
- Will develop concepts and layouts of the highest creative caliber, supervise execution of layouts by electronic production designers, and oversee production of final artwork and digital mechanicals according to client specifications.
Understanding and applying the Strategic Process, Creative Process, and clinical data to create Concept promotional pieces.
Maintains relevant professional and technical knowledge by:
Reviewing background materials, traveling with client sales representatives, meetings with consultants, attending research, and taking part in internal/external training sessions.
Contributes to team efforts by:
Participating in new business efforts, upholding procedures and processes as outlined in the employee handbook and accomplishing related results as needed.
Requirements:
- Superior knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, Quark Xpress/InDesign, and Flash Actionscript.
- Have a strong design sense and understanding of branding.
- Be a team player.
- Have the ability to work under deadlines and meet multiple deadlines.
- Must be able to receive constructive feedback on work.
- Must be organized and responsible for projects and time management.
