Description:

Overview:
Reports to the Associate Creative Director. The Senior Interactive Designer will possess the ability to take abstract concepts and minimal corporate visualization and turn them into exciting, cutting-edge interface designs that are user-friendly, representative of the client’s goals, and within brand guidelines.

Description of Duties:

• Develop creative concepts that push the limits of design
• Present creative concepts both internally and externally
• Follow and fight for the creative process
• Create feature sets, navigation schemes, and style guides
• Create storyboards and animation
• Direct photographers, illustrators, and multimedia developers
• Work closely with copywriters, account managers, and other studio staff
• Mentor and review the work of other interactive designers
• Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 3 years agency (or in-house agency) interactive experience
• Interface design experience and a design-related degree
• Ability to collaborate closely with others in a team environment under tight deadlines
• Ability to manage small design teams throughout a project life cycle
• Ability to clearly articulate and present designs to clients
• In-depth knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, Freehand, Flash, and a solid understanding of HTML
• After Effects and motion graphics experience
• 3D animation experience is a plus
