Overview:
Responsible for partnering with clients and internal teams to create innovative healthcare and pharmaceutical marketing initiatives. Collaborate with strategists, information architects, interactive designers and art directors to concept and write copy for Web interfaces, banner ads, flash presentations, information graphics, and new business proposals. The Copywriter/Sr. Copywriter must possess the ability to take abstract concepts and minimal corporate visualization and turn them into engaging messages that are representative of the client’s goals and within brand guidelines.
Description of Duties:
- Write copy for Web sites, banner ads, videos and other interactive media
- Partner with designers, art directors, and motion graphics specialists on concept and design
- Partner with information architects on content organization and user flow
- Collaborate on new business proposals and write copy as needed
- Edit, proofread, and review final work
- Present creative concepts and copy to clients
- Incorporate client feedback as appropriate
- Advise, counsel, and mentor other copywriters
- Stay abreast on technology and interactive design trends
- At least 3 years of agency (in-house agency) experience
- Journalism, English, Communication, or Liberal Arts degree
- Experience writing for healthcare and pharmaceutical clients
- Experience writing for consumer and business-to-business Web sites, CD-ROMs, etc.
- Collateral or broadcast experience a plus
- Polished presentation and communication skills
- Superior knowledge of grammar, spelling, punctuation, and proofreading symbols
- Demonstrated project management skills
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Macintosh or PC experience and knowledge of Microsoft Office
- Portfolio of highly creative work
