Description:
Overview:
Reports to the Associate Creative Director. The Interactive Designer will possess the ability to take abstract concepts and minimal corporate visualization and turn them into exciting, cutting-edge interface designs that are user-friendly, representative of the client’s goals, and within brand guidelines.
Description of Duties:
- Develop creative concepts that push the limits of design
- Present creative concepts both internally and externally
- Follow and fight for the creative process
- Create feature sets, navigation schemes, and style guides
- Work closely with art directors, copywriters, account managers, and other studio staff
- Produce graphics, animations, and basic Lingo or Flash code if needed
- Adhere to and help others understand the creative process
- Perform other duties as assigned by art directors and the creative director
Minimum Requirements:
- At least 1-3 years of agency (or in-house agency) interactive experience
- Interface design experience and a design-related degree
- Ability to manage projects and collaborate closely with others in a team environment under tight deadlines
- Ability to clearly articulate and present designs to art directors and clients
- In-depth knowledge of PhotoShop, Illustrator, Freehand, Flash, and a solid understanding of HTML
- After Effects and motion graphics experience is a plus
