Description:
Our client is looking for a Senior to Mid-Level Programmer who is proficient in ActionScript 2.0 and web technologies (Scripting, Databases, compiled objects)
Candidate’s primary responsibilities include clearly understanding the requirements of the job/program and consistently producing robust, well-structured, and well-documented code. Excellent communication skills are required, along with the foresight to raise issues before they become problems. The Candidate needs to be exceptionally reliable and self-disciplined, flexible in working practice and technical approach, extremely conscientious and have a strong attention to detail. The Candidate must be able to work with standardized tools and development methods on large development projects requiring multiple programmers and support team members
Requirements:
- Must have 3+ years experience developing applications (CD-ROM and Web) with Flash and Director. Must have been lead programmer on at least 3 CD-ROM’s that you can show.
- Must be extremely proficient in ActionScript 2.0 Classes
- Must have extensive experience with CD-ROM based video, extensive text handling and creating hybrid CD-ROMs
- Must have experience with multiple datasources, XML and database skills
- Must have a working knowledge of Photoshop and graphics processing.
- A working knowledge of presentation software and video editing/encoding experience is a plus.
- Familiarity with Office/Photoshop automation a plus.
- Experience in Web based back-end programming and integration (PHP, JSP, ASP) is also big plus.
- Experience developing project schedules and an understanding of information architecture
