Position Summary
The Information Architect is a leader on the creative team, developing site architecture documentation that is consistent with company’s business rules and usability standards. Helps to make sure that the work presented by all departments embraces the digital/interactive aspects as needed.

Principal Responsibilities

• Conceptualize, develop, and construct site architecture and architectural themes
• Design work flow documentation and site maps
• Define interface architecture and user interaction through site maps, wire frames and user flows
• Establish and maintain a high-level of Information Architecture and usability standards
• Develop team best practices for Information Architecture
• Develop site architecture that is in line with client scope, business and user goals

Required Competencies

• Understanding of basic website architecture from and engineering perspective
• Ability to interact with the clients
• Full understanding of usability guidelines and information architecture best practices
• Strong interpersonal and communications skill
• High level of comfort in presenting to and interacting with the client

Qualifications

• Required:
  • BA Degree
  • 3-5 years experience, at least 2 of those must be in the interactive space
  • Ability to juggle multiple tasks
  • Ability to work both in a team setting and autonomously
• Technical:
  • Understanding of : Visio, PowerPoint, HTML, Photoshop, Flash, XML, Adobe Acrobat
