Job Summary
The primary function of the Reinvention Project Director is to direct, manage and develop the vision for the Reinvention initiative across all agencies. The Reinvention Project Director is a "big thinker" who is ultimately responsible for managing the entire Reinvention initiative, communicating the shared vision, building new capabilities across agencies and measuring the operational efficiencies gained.

Job Responsibilities
  • Overall responsibility for 3 major areas of Reinvention Project:
    • Pilot Program
    • Building capabilities within the Pilot Program
    • Roll-out
  • Change Management:
    • Responsible for defining the change strategy
    • Develops the vision, leads on-going messaging, creates organizational buy-in, builds momentum & urgency, resistance manages and embeds behavioral changes
    • Present to Steering Committee on a regular basis
  • Pilot Program:
    • Will manage Pilot Leader(s) as assigned by Steering Committee
    • Responsible for testing and refining the AXIA recommendations which include but are not limited to:
      • Team roles and responsibilities
      • Process steps and requirements
      • Decision rules and meeting agendas
      • Metrics and brand dashboard
    • Quantifies performance improvements by:
      • Establishing base-line performance
      • Measuring improvements in efficiency, productivity and quality
    • Identifies lessons learned from individual pilots and between pilots.
    • Develops detailed documentations for procedures, training materials, team models and tools.
  • Build New Capabilities as it relates to Pilot Program through collaboration:
    • Partner with various department heads to successfully integrate new capabilities
    • Work to design initial solution set specific to Digital Service Offering, including the challenges of:
      • The integration of digital and creative
      • Development of digital Go-to-market strategy
      • Identification and recommendation of Customer need solutions
      • Pricing
      • Design of to-be-developed Analytics and Metrics capability across all channels
    • Tools & Technology:
      • Selects various technologies such as determining best software, customization, training and support
      • Identifies various tools such as brand team war rooms, client on-site offices, etc.
      • Builds collaborative platforms across all Agencies
    • People: Responsible for identifying needs and managing solutions in the following areas raised by the Reinvention project:
      • Training
      • Recruiting
      • Job Descriptions
      • Career Path
      • Performance Measurement
      • Incentives
      • Reporting Structures
    • Responsible for implementation of Knowledge Management approach recommended by AXIA, as may be modified based on Pilot learning’s and financial requirements: Knowledge Management systems will encompass
      • Centers of Excellence
      • Methodology & process
      • Tools & Infrastructure
      • Brand Approval / DNA
    • Develop differentiating point of view on Agency process for new business pitches
  • Roll-out
    • Responsible for refinement from Pilots
    • Final documentation & procedures
    • Standardizes training & coaching plans
    • Customizes roll-out to each individual Agency
    • Continually manages and monitors Reinvention process

Job Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree
  • 10-15 years of marketing experience: normally at least 8 years in advertising agency
  • 5+ years of managerial experience required
  • Account person with a strong understanding of creative and a thorough understanding of Agency operations (HCP, & DTC)
  • Strong business, human resources and operations acumen
  • Digital experience
