Description:
We are currently looking for an Interactive Art Director. The Interactive Art Director will contribute to the planning, design, and execution of exceptional interactive experiences for internationally recognized brands. The Interactive Art Director will be regarded as a creative thought leader when participating in internal meetings and reviews. When meeting with or presenting to clients s/he communicates intelligently and diplomatically. At all times the Art Director is unflappable, open-minded and confident.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Has 2+ years of interactive art direction experience at an advertising agency or in a similar environment (history in healthcare is a plus but not necessary).
- Is passionate about new media design, self-motivated, and quick to meet challenges with strategic thought.
- Has experience with strategic brainstorming and campaign development.
- Has a mind for user experience design and information architecture.
- Is an expert with all Adobe products, the Mac OS, and knows her/his way around sound and video editing applications.
- Has worked effectively with Flash developers to achieve the project vision. S/he has also produced some of their own Flash involving animation, motion graphics, and has an intermediate level of actionscripting experience.
- Understands the strengths and limitations of evolving technologies and trends such as Flash, Flex, Ajax, mobile, gaming, and social networking.
- Is detail focused, goal oriented, and well organized.
- Presents a strong design portfolio showcasing a variety of interactive projects, including but not limited to websites, microsites, CD-Roms, DVD-Roms, rich media banners and e-newsletters. (Roles and responsibilities on each project are clearly stated in the portfolio.)
