Position: Flash/Actionscript Multimedia Developer
Location: Illinois

Company Summary:
A provider of medical education and communication services to the healthcare industry.

Description:
This position requires the knowledge and skills to develop and produce multimedia projects, primarily in Adobe Flash. Strong Actionscript 2.0 knowledge (3.0 a plus), with an understanding of good object oriented practices & patterns. Project scope can also be quite wide, requiring studio recording, audio and video engineering, media and GUI programming and web/CD production.

Projects include:

• Flash Multimedia Production
• Multimedia CD-ROM design and production
• On-site audio and video digital recording

Requirements:

• Advanced ActionScript 2 programming REQUIRED
• Proven experience utilizing XML to build data-driven Flash-based sites and applications
• Graphic/UI design and prototyping of Flash based solutions
• Delivering projects on time and within budget, and with high quality
• Strong working knowledge and understanding of current web standards and user interface design and principles; strong knowledge of HTML, JavaScript, PHP and CSS
• Animation, 3D, illustration, and Experience with Flash Video (progressive and streaming) skills a plus
