• Monthly Close/Accounting
  • Update and correct Inventory Control, Process Manufacturing, and Purchase Order modules
  • Reconcile inventory, maintain inventory reserves
  • Monitor/correct manufacturing cost centers
  • Other assorted close/GL duties (COGS, Workers Comp, others)
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
• Analysis/Reporting
  • Inventory reporting and analysis
  • Product costing
  • Manufacturing expense reporting and analysis
  • Material variance analysis
  • COGS reporting
  • Inventory adjustment analysis
  • Assist cost center managers in understanding their spending
• Budgeting
  • Assist in development of Cost Center Budgets
  • Development of annual Standard Cost Updates
• Audit
  • Physical Inventory counts
  • Audit information requests
• Other Projects, as required

• BS in Finance or Accounting
• CPA desirable
• 2 to 6 years in a manufacturing or distribution business or in public accounting with manufacturing audit experience
• Strong Computer skills
• Strong analytical and communication skills
• Strong work ethic and a team-player
• Good investigative aptitude
